- You can launch additional apps from the Apple menu while the Finder is
- copying, or if you can get an extension that takes over the copy process
- from the Finder (SpeedCopy part of SpeedDoubler or CopyDoubler).

- Mac software and before that Apple II software has always been mail
- order but that never stopped Adobe, Microsoft, LucsArts, Claris, Quark
- and others from making millions of dollars mail order. It's kind of a
- dilemna. Mac users are use to going through mail order so when they
- see the same software costing 20% more locally they buy mail order. The
- local stores don't make any money off Mac software for this reason so
- they don't stock Mac titles. Most PC software is also cheaper through mail
- order but since there are more PC users, there are more that don't know they
- are getting ripped off. Compare the number of informed PC users who buy
- PC's locally as compared to those who buy through Computer Shopper.
-
- If you look at your local stores, you'll see more DOS software than Mac
- software yet Mac software sells overall are bigger than DOS software sells.
